This gastronomic event is all about the curly-haired mangalica pig, a Hungarian heritage breed, which came close to extinction just a few decades ago. You can taste a variety of products, mainly sausages and salamis, made from mangalica meat, which is said to be more flavorful and healthier than regular pork.
